How to kill the pawn
I never had ambitions to be someone special, to stand out from others, or to be on the spotlight. Whatever I did, I tried to do the best I could without doing too much publicity around myself. This applied equally to my opposition activity and in the ranks of NSZZ “Solidarność”.
